Dear Parents and Students,
We will conducting pre-enrollment earlier this year. Please visit with your student about what electives that he/she wants to take. For example, if your child is in athletics this year, but does not plan to be in them for the 2012-2013 school year, make sure that you have discussed this with your child. If a child is dropping band, we will need a note from the parent (due to the expense of an instrument) that gives your student permission to drop. Once your student has selected the subjects that he/she wants to take during the 2012-2013 school year, your student will not be able to change those classes. All students will take the required courses he/she needs to graduate without exception. Pre-enrollment will be conducted beginning in February, so please be visiting with your student about classes.
If your child is going to be in the 9th or 10th grade and plans to attend Pontotoc Technology Center as a junior, he/she needs to plan ahead by taking extra classes required for graduation during the 9th and 10th grade years.
